It goes against the philosophy of what coaching is about:
You’ve got all it takes to succeed within you.
But there's some “stuff” that has got in the way and keeps you from moving forward.
My role as your coach is to use the tools I’ve been trained in to help you work through this "stuff” - whatever it may be - that’s holding you back.
That "stuff" can be things like beliefs or narratives that have brought you to where you are now but that may no longer serve you. It can also be assumptions, habits or fears.
I partner with you on the things that matter to you.
We look at things like beliefs, narratives and mindset to help you come up with your own solutions that are right for you and your situation, drawing on your resources, values, strengths and support network.
I cheer you on but also share my observations and challenge you along the way.
I do not sell you a "blueprint” or some sort of “secret sauce” based on my own experience. Because that seldom works.
My experience might be relevant because I can relate to your situation and what you are going through. But we are different people with different cultures and experiences that shape the way we view the world and the ways we do things. So me saying to you "just copy me" would not do this justice.
That's why I have a different approach:
1) I partner with you on what it is that you want to work out for yourself, using tried and tested coaching tools and techniques, and coming up with a co-created work plan. - That’s my coaching packages
2) I partner with you in the same way but we follow a structure with pre-defined topics/issues. - That’s my 10 week career transition strategy programme
3) I developed a free career transitions guide, including a 5 step plan to get started. It's not a blueprint, but a set of questions to stimulate your thinking in a way that will help you find the solutions that are right for you in your unique context.
4) I publish a free weekly newsletter where I share tools, frameworks and inspiration to help you design an intentional career and life. I draw on my experience having lived in 5 countries across 3 continents and the career transitions these moves entailed. And I share inspiration and insights from having worked with international professionals navigating their careers and lives.
5) I publish articles on this free blog on topics and questions that come up frequently in the work with my clients.
6) And I am also sharing my insight, reflections and information about career transitions and coaching on LinkedIn. I'd love to connect with you there, if we arent' already. You can find my profile here; www.linkedin.com/in/yvonne.davidis
