Get inspired by real people to navigate change and create YOUR ideal career and life.

You'll hear a mix of:
🎧 conversations with my guests: real people you can actually relate to, sharing their stories, insights and lessons learned based on their lived experience
🎧 solo episodes, where I share a resource, framework or tool that I have picked up during my training and professional life, and that I have seen working for my clients
I want this to be about real conversations, professional but not so scripted and polished that they lose their authenticity.
All with the purpose of inspiring you to live out YOUR ideal career and life, embracing the shifts and turns along the way.
My guests come from all walks of life and have different backgrounds, professions, family situations, languages and cultures.
So far I've had guest with these kind of shifts:
New Zealand: from academia to public sector, to self employment research consultant
Germany/Phillipines: from international development NGO to HR in private sector
UK/Switzerland/Bangladesh: from leadership role in hospitality to self-employed speaker, facilitator and community builder
Switzerland: various roles within diplomacy, living in different countries, decision to retire one year earlier
Germany: from consulting role in the energy sector to part-time teaching role at university and part-time working as a systemic therapist
The podcast is in English.
But I've recorded also one episode in German with a summary and key take aways in English.
Why I called it "Shifted"
The idea of ‘shifted’ captures the different kinds of career changes that I’ll be talking about in the podcast.
That includes “physical” changes that are literally due to shifting cities or countries, or moving within or between organisations or sectors. Or restructures or redundancies.
But there’s another dimension that I want to talk about too, and that’s the shifts in mindset or perspective that we go through as we navigate or actively seek out change.
I'm planning to release one episode per week, sometimes it might be fortnightly depending on my workload.
So hit subscribe so you don't miss a thing!
Give it a rating and share it with anyone in your network, family and friends who you think might enjoy listening to it.
