Yvonne Davidis – Career Transitions Coach

  • MA in European Studies

  • Certified coach with the Institute for Executive Coaching Leadership (IECL) Australia

  • Member: IECL Alumni

I love supporting people to reinvent their work lives in times of transition so they can lead fulfilling careers and lives. That is why I became a coach.

In my coaching I draw on my experience as someone who has gone through multiple life transitions and lived in a number of cultures and languages. My career has taken me on a journey involving foreign affairs, climate change and international development roles. In my professional life and volunteer roles I have always had a strong emphasis on helping others and growing myself through learning and development, coaching and mentoring.

In my personal life, I love walking in the bush or on the beach, reading a good book and catching up with friends. I'm a knitter and love pilates.

I am originally from Germany where I met my kiwi partner. Since then, we have lived together in Mexico, Russia and New Zealand. In 2021 we became parents and we are enjoying this new and exciting chapter together.

As a coach I’m passionate about helping my clients thrive by consciously shaping the life they want to live.

I look forward to working with you!

MY EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

I hold a certification in organisation coaching from the Institute for Executive Coaching Leadership (IECL) Australia.

The coaching mindset of continuous learning (and un-learning) appeals to me because it links to life-long-learning, one of more core values.

I completed various in-house leadership, coaching and mentoring trainings with previous employers (the UK Foreign and Development Office and the Danish Foreign Service). I've applied both skills in real life situations as line manager, team leader and coaching champion.

Since 2013, I volunteer as job mentor with the Job Mentoring Service Wellington, New Zealand.

I'm a member of the IECL's alumni network and Coaching Fellows, a German network for professional coaches.
